MEXICAN Project

WELCOME Here

We are starting INTERNATIONAL actions…
Concrete Jungle is proposing to create the first self sustainable orphanage in Mexico, to help children in need.

This first abroad project will be a test template, which, upon its success, will eventually be reproduced in other countries that need such structures.
Having a building with a minimal running costs and a great link with the functionment of systems used for the fulfillment of basic human needs seems a necessary new approach for Mexico.
Indeed, this country counts 45 million children under the age of 18, as well as a huge amount of “unaccompanied children”, migrants from all over the World trying to get to U.S.A.

The Red Latinoamericana de Acogimiento Familiar (Latin American Foster Care Network) estimates that there are roughly 400,000 children in Mexico without parental care, including 100,000 who live on the streets.Right now, there are only 700 public and private homes providing shelter to only 30,000 children. We want to develop a prototype to change the situation.
